Rest in Peace Billy Mays

Published by theperplexikon at 8:43 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Boisterous Bill Mays has passed from this life, June 29, 2009. He was famous for his never-ending quirky products and infomercials. With the catchy and somewhat obnoxious infomercial spots, Mays became a household name of a $150 billion dollar industry.

Mays found his way into stardom through Orange Glo in 1996, a privately held Canadian corporation that specializes in innovative quality cleaning products. The only thing about them is they had to shorten Glow to Glo. I guess the “w” was going to cost a little Xtra, so they went ahead and clipped it. Instead, they invested in Billy Mays and got a heck of a salesman. Who knew that saved money for the “w” would buy Billy Mays? RIP.
